Elise Linder, LCSW Co-Founder of the Fertility Counseling Center of South Florida
Elise Linder is a licensed clinical social worker who has been working with women and couples who are dealing with infertility for more than twelve years. She earned her Master's degree in 1994 from the University of Georgia and has been living in South Florida for fourteen years. She is active with many organizations in the infertility community including Resolve: The National Infertility Association, the American Society for Reproductive Medicine and the American Fertility Association. Her own personal experience with infertility led her to specialize in women's reproductive health.

Elise was featured on the PBS programThe Art of Women's Healthin 2005 where she talked about the role of peer support groups for people experiencing infertility. She was also a guest on WLRN's Topical Currents with Joseph Cooper in 2005 where she spoke about the importance of getting emotional support while going through infertility, whether people are in treatment or not.
Elise was a guest again on WLRN's Topical Currents on August 19, 2008. She talked about women's risk of depression while experiencing infertility and how getting support, either through peer support groups like Resolve offers or professional counseling or coping skills training through workshops like the Mind Body program offered here at the Fertility Counseling Center, are extremely important.
Kasia Maguire has a Bachelor’s degree in Education and a Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling from the University of Miami (2005). She is a registered intern in the state of Florida. In addition to an extensive background dealing with bereavement and loss, she also has vast experience with those issues specific to women.
Kasia is a mindfulness meditation practitioner and teacher. She has developed and led a variety of groups and classes in selected areas. She has consistently witnessed how the practice of mindfulness in combination with psychotherapy can reduce chronic stress and anxiety. Kasia takes mindfulness based integrated approach to emotional wellness and she believes that our minds and bodies are completely intertwined.
In more recent years, her personal experience has led her to concentrate on fertility counseling. She has successfully facilitated support groups for people struggling with infertility for many years. In 2006 Kasia underwent comprehensive and extensive training in mind/body medicine from Dr. Alice Domar, the renowned creator of the highly successful mind/body program at Boston IVF. She has used this training to successfully facilitate coping skills workshops for infertility.
She is an active member of Resolve, the American Fertility Association and the American Society for Reproductive Medicine.
